To demand peace is to call for complicity. Palestinians deserve freedom, liberation, and justice. They deserve conditions where they thrive and not just survive off of the bare minimum. Peace does not equate to reparations, which I believe Palestinians also deserve for being forcibly displaced from their homes. There are elder Palestinians who are older than the state of Israel have not been allowed back home since the Nakba.

Thankfully, my Jewish friends are willing to engage in dialogue and discourse, so I have not lost my Jewish friends. Our shared values of compassion maintain our friendship.
