There are several organizations verifying the death toll coming out of Gaza's Ministry of Health including the Israeli Population Registry and B'Tselem (the Israeli information center). The Israeli Population Registry has stated they have no reason to doubt the death toll numbers. Nevertheless, we can all agree that one dead is too many in the name of this horrific massacre. The same applies to innocent Israeli civilians.

Palestinian civilians are not collateral damage for Israel's quest for security. Palestinian civilians are people who deserve dignity and human rights.

The only pain I am experiencing is the second-hand trauma of seeing innocent people die.
